Consulting for teams and organizations

We work with teams and organizations when relationship dynamics are getting in the way of the work. Sometimes the work is preventive; sometimes we are brought in because something important has already broken down.

  • Team cohesion issues
  • Breakdowns in trust, communication or collaboration across a team
  • A leadership team avoiding conversations it needs to have
  • Conflict or organizational change beginning to affect collaboration and performance
  • Helping teams repair after difficult events, transitions or ruptures

Our role is to help people understand what is happening beneath the conflict, have the conversations that have been difficult to have, repair what is repairable, and create a healthier and more effective way of working together.

Navigating Race and Racism in Interracial Relationships

Designed to help partners and families name the often complicated dynamics related to race in their relationships. Built on holding and honoring the lived experience of people of color, in an environment that relies on vulnerability, openness, understanding and trust. Includes recognizing the impact of oppressive systems on identity, insight into each person's racial identity development, and the intersection of non-racial identities — gender, class, sexual orientation — with racial identity and lived experience.

Becoming a Racially Conscious Therapist

For clinicians. Race is a social construct that serves as an organizing force in our society. Whether or not we acknowledge it, practitioners are racial beings, and racial identity influences how we show up in practice, what interventions we choose, and how we are seen by those we serve. This workshop is an opportunity to look inward and tune yourself as the instrument, and introduces a foundational tool for building capacity to engage in conversations about race.
