Our team

We are who we serve.

A richly diverse team who know what it is like to feel "othered", building safe experiences that challenge norms, foster acceptance and enrich connections — for ourselves, our clients and our communities.

Bukky Kolawole, PsyD (she/her/hers)

Founder · Psychologist · Executive Coach · Relationship Coach

Since I decided to become a psychologist I have never looked back. The privilege of the work is the chance, daily, to be with clients as they arrive at the birthplace of change.

I built Relationship HQ to be a place where the needs of people of color and the LGBTQ+ community are not an afterthought but the starting point — a space that feels like a close friend's home, shoes off included. I am passionate about helping clients feel accepted, important and loved in their relationships.

Terese De'Lorae, LMFT-LP (she/her/hers)

Couples & Individual Therapist

I believe that relationships shape everything about who we are and how we move through the world — starting with the relationship we have with ourselves. That belief drew me to marriage and family therapy.

I help clients explore the many ways they show up in their lives, using a holistic and systemic approach to healing that goes beyond blame or pathology. I am especially passionate about couples work, the LGBTQ+ community, and the mental health of Black women.
