Who we work with

LGBTQ+ couples, couples of color, interracial couples, non-monogamous partners, and anyone who has spent a first session in someone else's office explaining themselves before the work could begin. That explaining is not part of the work here.

Terese De'Lorae leads the couples therapy; Dr. Bukky Kolawole takes relationship coaching clients. In person in Midtown Manhattan and Essex County, New Jersey, and by video across both states.

Questions

What people ask

How long are couples sessions?

Most couples do best with 75 minutes. Shorter sessions are available and cost less; the longer session usually moves further.

What if only one of us wants to come?

Start anyway. Individual therapy with relationships in view is real work, and it often changes what happens between you.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network. Where your plan accepts out-of-network claims and you elect the service, we file on your behalf; otherwise we provide superbills on request.
